Using 8 ply cotton or cotton blend yarn and a 4mm crochet hook ch6. Join with a slip stitch to first ch to form ring.
Round 1: Ch1. *Sc in ring. Ch5. Sc in ring. Rep from * 5 times. Join with slip stitch to first sc. This makes 6 loops.
Round 2: Slip stitch in the first ch of the first ch5 loop. Sc, ch5, sc in each ch5 loop. Join with a slip stitch to first sc.
Round 3-10: Rep round 2. Fasten off and weave ends into work.
Drawstring: Ch70 or as long as you want it to be. Weave in and out of final round and tie the ends together.
Variation: Using crochet cotton and a 3mm crochet hook, add an extra chain loop in round one to make 7 loops. And make 12 rounds.
