Crochet Baggy Hat



You will need:-

1 ball 8 ply yarn 100% acrylic, or many colours and change each round
4 mm crochet hook
darning needle

To make:-

Make a magic ring.
Round 1 - 12 sc into ring. Join with sl st.
Round 2 - ch 4, (1 dc 1 ch) into each sc of first round. (12 stitches) Join between ch and 1st hdc.
Round 3 - ch 4, dc into same space, ch1, (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1) into each space. (24 stitches) Join with sl st.
Round 4 - ch 4, (1 dc 1 ch) between each dc. Join with sl st into the space.
Round 5 - repeat round 3
Round 6 - repeat round 4
Round 7 - ch 3, 1 dc into same space, ch 1, (2 dc 1 ch) into each space. Join with a sl st.
Rounds 8 to 14 - ch 3, 2 dc into same space, 3 dc into each space. For rounds 6 to 14 join with a sl st. On round 14 join with a sc between 3 ch and dc.
Rounds 15 to 17 - ch 3, 1dc into same space, 2 dc into each space. Join with a sl st.
Round 18 - ch 3, 2 dc in next 4 spaces, 1 dc in 5th space. Continue in this pattern for the round. Fitting in final dc where it sits best.
Round 19 - ch 3, dc in every space. Join with a sl st.
Round 20 - sc between every dc. Join with a sl st.
Round 21 - 3 ch, dc into next stitch, 2 dc into following stitch. Repeat (1 dc into next 2 stitches, then 2dc into following stitch) for the round. Join with a sl st.
Round 22 - 3 ch, dc into every stitch. Join with a sl st.
Round 23 - the same as round 21.
Finish off. Darn ends.

Stocking Stitich Beanie (8 ply)



Materials
1 ball 100g or 2 balls 50g 8ply wool
Pair 4.5mm needles

Tension
Stocking stitch – 21 sts and 28 rows to 10cm using 4.5mm needles

Using 4.5mm needles cast on 106 sts.
1st row: K2, *P2, K2, repeat from * to end
2nd row: P2, *K2, P2, repeat from * to end
Repeat first 2 rows 4 times …….. 10 rows rib in all
                                                
Work 26 rows stocking stitch beginning with a knit row

Shape crown
1st row:  K1,*K11, K2 tog, repeat from * to last st, K1 (98 sts)
2nd and alternate rows: Purl to end
3rd row:  K1,*K10, K2 tog, repeat from * to last st, K1 (90 sts)
5th row:  K1,*K9, K2 tog, repeat from * to last st, K1    (82 sts)
7th row:  K1,*K8, K2 tog, repeat from * to last st, K1    (74 sts)
9th row:  K1, *K7, K2 tog, repeat from * to last st, K1    (66 sts)
11th row: K1,*K6, K2 tog, repeat from * to last st, K1    (58 sts)  
13th row: K1,*K5, K2 tog, repeat from * to last st, K1    (50 sts)
15th row: K1,*K4, K2 tog, repeat from * to last st, K1    (42 sts)
17th row: K1,*K3, K2 tog, repeat from * to last st, K1    (34 sts)
19th row: K1,*K2, K2 tog, repeat from * to last st, K1    (26 sts)
21st row:  (K2 tog) 13 times
Break off yarn, run end through remaining sts, pull tight and secure.

Crochet Stubbie Cooler 4 Girls


5 (or however many you choose) different colours of 8 ply yarn
4mm crochet hook

(Change colour every round)

Chain 8 and join to make ring.
Round 1 - 12 sc into ring
Round 2 - 1 dc, 1 ch into each stitch
Round 3 - 2 dc, 1 ch into each space (24 stitches)
Round 4 - 1 dc into dc from round 2, 2 sc into dcs from round 3, repeat to the end of round (36 stitches)
Round 5 - sc into the front of every stitch all the way around, then sc into the back of the same stitches all the way around
Round 6 - sc into each stitch
Round 7 - 1 dc, 1 ch into every second stitch
Round 8 - 1 dc into sc in the space from round 6, 1 sc into dc from round 7
Repeat rounds 6 - 8 four more times
Finish with a round of sc into each stitch


Wine bottle cover -

Ch 42 and join.
Make 8 repeats of the 3 row pattern.
On the next sc round: sc 2, decrease by sc the next 2 together (32 stitches).
Repeat rounds 7 & 8 from above.
Next round sc 6, decrease by sc the 7th & 8th together, repeat to end (28 stitches).
Repeat rounds 7 & 8 from above.
Next round sc 5, decrease by sc the 7th & 7th together, repeat to end (24 stitches).
Repeat rounds 7 & 8 from above.
Finish with a round of sc into each stitch.

iPod/Phone Jumper



C8f - slip the next four stitches onto the cable needle, and hold it in the front of your work. Knit the next four stitches on the left needle. Knit the four stitches from the cable needle (C8f made).

Using 8 ply yarn and 4.5mm knitting needles, cast on 24 stitches.

Row 1 - K6, P2, K8, P2, K6
Row 2 - P6, K2, P8, K2, P6
Row 3 - K6, P2, C8f, P2, K6
Row 4 - repeat row 2
Rows 5 to 10 - repeat rows 1 & 2, repeated 3 times
Row 11 - repeat row 3
Rows 12 to 18 - repeat rows 4 to 10 once
Row 19 - repeat row 3
Row 20 - repeat row 2
Row 21 - repeat row 1
Row 22 - repeat row 2
Row 23 - K1, (P2, K2) repeat until last 3 stitches, P2, K1
Row 24 - P1, (K2, P2) repeat until last 3 stitches, K2, P1
Row 25 - repeat row 23
Row 26 - repeat row 24

Cast off in rib

Sew back seam with a yarn needle.
Making sure the seam is centred at the back, sew the bottom seam with a yarn needle.

Make loop by attaching a long piece of yarn with a crochet hook at the top of the centre back.
With the two strands of yarn together ch10 then join a centre back with a slip stitch.
Weave ends into work with a yarn needle.

Attach a button to the front with a yarn needle.
And you're done!

Crochet Cloche Hat



You will need:-

1 ball Patons Lite Inca yarn or 8ply 100% wool yarn
4.5mm crochet hook
darning needle

To make:-

Ch 3, join to make loop.
Round 1 - 12 hdc into loop. Join with sl st.
Round 2 - ch 3, (1 hdc 1 ch) into each hdc of first round. (12 stitches) Join between ch and 1st hdc.
Round 3 - ch 4, dc into same space, ch1, (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1) into each space. (24 stitches) Join with sl st.
Round 4 - ch 4, (1 dc 1 ch) between each dc. Join with sl st into the space.
Round 5 - ch 3, 1 dc into same space, ch 1, (2 dc 1 ch) into each space. Join with a sl st.
Rounds 6 to 15 - ch 3, 2 dc into same space, 3 dc into each space. For rounds 6 to 14 join with a sl st. On round 15 join with a sc between 3 ch and dc.
Round 16 - sc between every dc. Join with a sl st.
Round 17 - 3 ch, dc into next stitch, 2 dc into following stitch. Repeat (1 dc into next 2 stitches, then 2dc into following stitch) for the round. Join with a sl st.
Round 18 - 3 ch, dc into every stitch. Join with a sl st.
Round 19 - the same as round 17.
Finish off. Darn ends and attach flower.
